Department for harmonization of incentives in agriculture, rural development schemes and harmonization of payment systems and registers

The Department for Harmonization of Incentives in Agriculture, Rural Development Schemes and Harmonization of Payment Systems and Registers is one of the Departments of the Office for Harmonization and Coordination of Payment Systems in Agriculture, Nutrition and Rural Development of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The responsibilities of the Department are activities related to the process of internal harmonization and coordination of payment systems in agriculture, nutrition and rural development of BiH, their gradual harmonization with EU requirements, preparation of the legal and institutional framework for attracting pre-accession funds, collection of data on incentives and further reporting on the same.

Within its jurisdiction, the department also performs tasks related to the development of systems, procedures, processes and controls regarding approved incentives and rural development schemes. Plans and prepares documentation on support schemes in agriculture and rural development in accordance with EU requirements. The department is also responsible for informing the relevant authorities of the state, entity and Brčko District about the introduction of new or changes to existing schemes, amounts or units of aid, requirements and conditions of the EU.
